UAD reveals technology Unision

The American brand Universal Audio has introduced a new technology for Unison sound card series Apollo. According to the manufacturer, this system has been in development for over three years and provides two-way configuration between Apollo hardware and software emulations mic preamps UAD. The analog-to-digital concept allows to change the impedance and other parameters mic preamps cards Apollo for accurate emulation of the modeled preamp. Integrated preamplifier interface Apollo can because of this technology sound like a popular lamp and transistor preamp from the past. Implementation of this technology are expected in the near future. UAD has introduced also a new Apollo Twin, table model with Thunderbolt interface for Mac OS X. In addition to quality 24bit/192kHz conversion also offers a DSP module or UAD UAD SOLO DUO acceleration software effects.

Products can be purchased separately or in a single package of newly Master Audio Suite Mac. The second version of the audio editor Sound Forge Pro Mac adds a number of features requested directly by users, including functions for batch file processing, improved mastering tools, and new editing options. Free update program SpectraLayers Pro 2.1 brings better connection with the Sound Forge Pro Mac, the effect of removing reverb from recordings, new algorithms to reduce or eliminate noise and improved user interface. Although both applications continue to run independently, new features for interoperability between the two programs create a unified environment for editing wavelength and spectral distribution of sound recordings.
